VAN DE PUT & CO is a fam­ily-owned private bank that has spe­cial­ised in in­vest­ment ad­vice and wealth man­age­ment for 7 gen­er­a­tions. The Man­aging Part­ners work dir­ectly with private cli­ents, man­aging their wealth in­de­pend­ently. This in­de­pend­ence means that al­most all of its IT activ­it­ies are kept in-house. The bank has an ex­tens­ive in-house ERP sys­tem, man­aged and main­tained by a small team, and wishes to ac­cel­er­ate its de­vel­op­ment and that of the as­so­ci­ated busi­ness applications.

To­geth­er with your col­leagues in the IT team, you will share re­spons­ib­il­ity for the con­tin­ued smooth run­ning of the de­part­ment, cov­er­ing the vari­ous as­pects of IT pro­jects. As IT De­veloper, you will in par­tic­u­lar be re­spons­ible for de­vel­op­ing new di­git­al tools for com­mu­nic­at­ing with our cli­ents. You will also be­come the man­ager of our ex­tranet, re­spons­ible for its main­ten­ance and development.

Profile

• You have sev­er­al years of rel­ev­ant ex­per­i­ence as an IT de­veloper and a high­er edu­ca­tion de­gree in com­puter sci­ence (bach­el­or’s or master’s)
• You have an ex­cel­lent com­mand of Py­thon and Django (in par­tic­u­lar djangorestframework)
• You have some ex­per­i­ence with Angular
• You have some ex­per­i­ence with Docker
• You have some ex­per­i­ence with cloud solu­tions (Azure, AWS, …)
• You are pro­fi­cient in de­ploy­ment tools and CI/CD pro­cesses, which you are able to set up and maintain
• Know­ledge of and ex­per­i­ence with SQL and DB2 data­bases is an asset
• Ex­per­i­ence in writ­ing tests (unit tests with py­test and Cypress tests) is also a plus
• You are not daun­ted by doc­u­ment­ing/cre­at­ing work­flows and ERD diagrams
• You have a cli­ent-ori­ented ap­proach and a pas­sion for build­ing di­git­al products
• You nat­ur­ally think in an ab­stract and ana­lyt­ic­al way
• You are not afraid of new chal­lenges and are mo­tiv­ated by com­plex projects
• You can man­age sev­er­al pro­jects in par­al­lel while set­ting the right priorities
• You en­joy be­ing part of a team while be­ing com­fort­able with a high de­gree of autonomy and responsibility
• Your nat­ive lan­guage is French or Dutch, but you also ex­press your­self well in the oth­er na­tion­al lan­guage and in Eng­lish – both or­ally and in writing
