Privacy policy

1. Who are we?

1.1. The website www.vandeput.be is published by VAN DE PUT & CO Banquiers Privés SA, with its registered office at Van Putlei 74-76, 2018 Antwerp, company number 0404.501.381 (“the Bank”, “we”). The Bank is the controller of the personal data described below.

1.2. This statement only explains how this website processes data. All processing of personal data carried out by the Bank (client relationship, legal obligations, retention periods, recipients, etc.) is described in our full personal data protection policy (in FR) (PDF), which also applies to this website.

1.3. For any question relating to your data, please contact our Data Protection Office by e-mail at dpo@vandeput.be or by post at VAN DE PUT & CO Banquiers Privés SA, for the attention of the Data Protection Office, Van Putlei 74-76, 2018 Antwerp.

1.4. This statement was updated on 29 September 2026.

2. No cookies, no trackers

2.1. This website uses no cookies or any other tracking technology (such as the browser’s local storage), either on its own behalf or on behalf of third parties. That is why you are not presented with any request for consent.

2.2. We use no audience measurement tools (such as Google Analytics), no advertising and no social media plug-ins. The website’s fonts, images and documents are hosted on our own servers: visiting the website does not involve any communication between your browser and third-party services.

3. Data processed when you use the website

3.1. Visiting the website. Like any web server, our server records technical data for each request (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) in order to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website. These logs are kept for a maximum of 14 days. The website is hosted in a data centre located in Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

3.2. Contact form. The data you enter (name, company, telephone, e-mail address, subject and message), together with the sending IP address, are sent to the Bank by e-mail in order to process your request. No copy is kept on the web server.

3.3. Applications. When you apply via the website, your identification and contact details, your message and your CV are sent by e-mail to our recruitment department in order to assess your application. No copy is kept on the web server.

3.4. Protection against abuse. In order to limit abusive form submissions, the server keeps a fingerprint (hash) of the sending IP address for 24 hours.

3.5. E-mail delivery. Messages from the forms are delivered by our e-mail service provider (Twilio SendGrid). Where data are processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

3.6. Data received by e-mail are kept and processed in accordance with our full data protection policy (see 1.2).

4. Your rights

4.1. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability with regard to your data, under the conditions laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Office (dpo@vandeput.be); the procedures are described in our full policy (in FR).

4.2. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

5. Links to other websites

5.1. The “Login” button leads to our client platform, a separate service with its own terms of use. Links to external websites (for example Google Maps for our address) take you away from our website: the privacy policy of those websites then applies.

6. Changes

6.1. We may amend this statement from time to time. The version in force is always available on this website.
